Agasur S.C.A was born in 1982 as Agrarian transformation company under the name of “Agroganadera del Sur” to become, several years later in 2001, a Cooperative Society from Andalucía set up by goat farmers that traditionally produce goat milk.
Today, Agasur S.C.A, valued cooperative in the dairy sector as one ot the most important dairy product producers in Spain, has more than 150 employees who pick up dialy more than 50.000 litres of goat milk —mainly from Málaga— with what, since 2007, they produce goat cheese under an strict quality control in all phases of the manufacture.
In order to do that, they own an industrial 2 floor 1.000m2 warehouse where they collect and refrigerate goat milk and produce the cheese.
The result is an excellent and wide variety of goat cheeses that are sold under the brand “El Pinsapo – Sierra de las Nieves”, recognized both by consumers and by national and international contest prizes.
